Wholesale Blowguns

Paintballs and Darts

The blow gun has a long and storied history among indigenous peoples of South America, Central America, and Southeast Asia. It has traditionally been used as a hunting instrument for small game targets, though competitive blow gun shooting has become popular in recent decades. You might consider selling blow guns as either a self-defense or sporting product. Safety Technology has many different models for you to choose from.

These powerful and high-quality Blowguns are .40 caliber, precision manufactured with seamless T-6061 aircraft aluminum tubing and they are guaranteed for life.

These are not toys, but rather, they are the real thing. With all the new improvements, you can expect ranges over 250 feet and muzzle velocities as high as an impressive 350 feet per second or more! In fact, the darts can penetrate 1/4″ of plywood with no problem! Imagine one quarter of an inch?

These are 100% Made in the USA. Each Blowgun comes with 12 target darts, mouthpiece, muzzleguard, foam grip and a dart quivers. Can shoot darts and paintballs. We also offer packages of target darts and paintballs.

The History of the Blow Gun

The exact origins of the blowgun are not known at this time. However, archeology has uncovered evidence of their use among many ancient cultures, particularly the Amazon region of South America, and Guatemala in Central America. Even Native Americans used blow guns to hunt small game.

Technology has given rise to more effective ways of hunting, leading to the demise of the blow gun as a primary implement of hunters. Still, blow guns are used today by isolated Amazonian tribes that have not yet been introduced to modern technology.

They are used for historical demonstration purposes, particularly among Native Americans teaching others about their history and culture. Finally, blow guns are also used for hunting and sport shooting all around the world. There is even a drive on to make blowgun shooting an Olympic sport.

A typical blow gun manufactured within the last 20 years consists of a barrel, mouthpiece, and muzzle guard. It can fire both darts and paintballs. The blow guns we sell are .40 caliber devices made from aircraft-grade aluminum tubing for rugged durability and long life. They come in a variety of lengths, ranging from 18 to 72 inches.

We Sell Will Blow Guns at Wholesale Prices

As a personal safety and self-defense wholesaler, Safety Technology is always looking for new products to add to our inventory. We were thrilled when we first came across the opportunity to sell blow guns. These versatile and easy-to-use weapons have a lot to offer. They are great for hunting, sport shooting and self-defense, while at the same time being a reminder of how some people used to hunt and defend themselves in the days before firearms.

We sell blow guns at wholesale prices to dealers and retailers who then turn around and sell them at retail. Our wholesale prices are extremely competitive, making it possible for you to make good money selling them. And just so you know, we are committed to keeping our wholesale prices as low as possible in order to help facilitate the success of our dealers.

As a Safety Technology dealer, you would buy wholesale blow guns to sell either online or in person. You would calculate your retail markup based on covering your own expenses and putting some profit in your pocket. Then you would adjust your retail price depending on what the market will bear. With every blow gun sold you will be making money.

You can base your retail business on one of two models. First, you can choose to mark your prices up to be roughly equivalent with your competitors, making the maximum amount of profit on every piece you sell. Your second option is to offer slightly lower retail prices. You will make less per piece, but you will probably sell more pieces in the long run. This retail model is more on volume and less on a strict margin.

Regardless of the model you choose though, you can rely on us to sell our blow guns at low wholesale prices that leave you plenty of room to make a profit. We are not out to gouge you on price. Why would we do that? We need you to succeed if we are to succeed ourselves.

How to Market Blowguns to Customers

Your ability to sell blow guns is limited only by your ability to market. You will be pleased to know that there are lots of different ways to market these products. A good place to start is with sport shooting. There is a very strong market for people looking for new methods of sport shooting that do not involve firearms or bow and arrow. The blow gun tends to fascinate them.

The benefit of the modern blow gun in terms of sport shooting is that it can accommodate both darts and paintballs. Those who prefer the authentic experience can choose darts; those who would prefer not to run the risk of using the sharp, pointed projectiles can choose paintballs instead.

Moving beyond sport shooting, you can also market blow guns as both self-defense and hunting weapons. As a self-defense weapon, a blow gun represents an opportunity for your customers to protect themselves with a non-lethal device that doesn’t require a firearms license. As a side note, be aware that blow guns are illegal in California, Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia. There may be restrictions in other states as well.

As a hunting weapon, the blow gun is great for small game including rabbits and squirrels. You could market blow guns as a way to introduce young people to the sport of hunting until they’re old enough to safely handle other hunting weapons.

Where to Sell Blow Guns

Now you know what a blow gun is and how to market it as a sporting, self-defense, and hunting product. The next thing you need to know is where to sell. You have plenty of options, beginning with gun shows.

Gun shows are not just for firearms and ammunition. In fact, it is completely normal for firearms dealers to also sell things like stun guns and blow guns. If it’s a product related to self-defense or personal safety, you’ll find it at the average gun show. Blow guns are no exception.

Local self-defense exhibitions are another great venue. So are public markets, community events, and local music festivals. Basically, any public event that seeks out vendors willing to sell their wares represents an opportunity for you to sell blow guns and other Safety Technology products.

You can even sell blow guns at flea markets. Whether you were to rent space full time or just sell on the weekends, flea markets are well known for attracting plenty of foot traffic. What’s more, people who frequent the flea markets are people who tend to spend. And if they are going to spend, they might just as well be introduced to a blow gun.

Sell Blow Guns Online

While you could make the case that it is easier to sell blow guns at gun shows and flea markets, you might not be the kind of person who really enjoys face-to-face retail. That’s fine. You can also sell blow guns online. The only thing you have to remember is that there are certain markets you cannot ship to. Make sure you understand the legalities of restricted markets before you try to enter them.

Sell online by building an e-commerce site through one of the many all-in-one platforms out there. An all-in-one platform provides web hosting space, store templates, a shopping cart application, payment processing, and more. You get everything you need in exchange for a monthly subscription fee.

Another alternative is to build your own e-commerce site using web hosting space you already pay for. Alternatively, you could let Safety Technology build a site for you. We have been in this business for more than two decades, and we know what it takes to sell online. We can get your site up and running in no time at all.

Sell Blow Guns at Home Parties

Still another opportunity to sell blow guns is the traditional home party normally associated with cosmetics and kitchen items. Just organize a party, circulate our color catalog, and start taking orders. You can even enhance your home parties by inviting a guest to talk about personal safety or offer a demonstration.

The beauty of selling at home parties is that you do not have to stock our blow guns and other products. Sell by way of our dropshipping program instead. Dropshipping is easy; here’s how it works:

  1. You sell directly to customers who place orders with you.
  2. You order the products you sold through your Safety Technology dealer account.
  3. We ship orders directly to your customers using shipping information you provide.

The difference between our wholesale price and your retail price constitutes your gross profit. Subtract your costs to determine your net profit. That’s all there is to it. Dropshipping makes it possible for you to sell online or in person without having to worry about stocking or shipping. And no, we do not charge any extra fees for dropshipping. You pay the same wholesale price along with whatever it costs us for shipping and packaging.

The blow gun may not be the most recognized non-lethal weapon on the market, but it doesn’t take much to sell one to a customer who has the right mindset. If you are looking for a great new product to add to your self-defense and personal safety inventory, we hope you’ll consider our blow guns. We are thrilled to be able offer these unique items to our dealers.
