Question: Can pepper spray be shipped to any US state, city, county?
Answer: Pepper spray is legal in all 50 US states but have restrictions in a few. Where there are restrictions, you can’t sell. For instance, we can’t ship to New York. Go to our pepper spray laws and restrictions page.

Answer: All our pepper sprays are very effective, however Independent Laboratory testing has proven Wildfire to be the strongest.
Question: When does pepper spray expire?
Answer: Most pepper sprays have an expiration date stamped on the canister, usually 2 to 4 years from the time of manufacture. All aerosol products will eventually lose pressure over time.
Question: How long does pepper spray take to kick in?
Answer: The effects are immediate. This product affects the eyes, nose, mouth and throat instantly.
Question: What is the best way to sell pepper spray?
Answer: Because of the obvious need and low price, pepper spray is easy to sell face to face; like to friends and neighbors, at home parties, gun shows, flea markets, as fundraisers, etc. Of course, they sell great on the Internet.
Question: What is oleoresin capsicum (OC)?
Answer: Oleoresin capsicum (OC) is the oil extracted from the fruit of the chili plant. OC is the active ingredient used in most pepper sprays. The percentage of OC within the formulation measures the amount of red pepper contained in the pepper spray.
Question: Is pepper spray flammable?
Answer: There are 3 components to a pepper spray: the active ingredient OC or Oleoresin Capsicum, the Carrier and the propellent. OC is not flammable. The carrier, depending on the manufacturer, is sometimes alcohol, which is flammable. Some manufacturers use Butane as the propellant which is flammable. None of our pepper spray brands use any flammable ingredients. Be wary of those that do.
Question: Is the pepper sprays childproof?
Answer: Probably not. A child could rotate the locking device and depress the trigger, so it’s not childproof.
Question: Are pepper spray canisters of any brand refillable?
Answer: No, not refillable. You need to buy a new one each time.
Question: Can I bring my pepper spray on an airplane?
Answer: According to the Code of Federal Regulations, 49 CFR Part 175.10, one self-defense spray, not exceeding 118 mL (4 fluid ounces) by volume, that incorporates a positive means to prevent accidental discharge may be carried in checked baggage only. All products under 4 fluid ounces are FAA compliant. However, certain airlines may have their own restrictions. Check with your carrier before your flight.
